Prof. Dr. Nasser Kanani visits HRM class on Saturday, Feb 24.

Nasser Kanani (Dr.-Ing. Dr. habil.) is  professor of Materials Science at the Technical University of Berlin (Berlin Institute of Technology) and Berlin University of Applied Sciences. He was involved in research work at MIT (Cambridge/Boston) and the University of Florida (Gainsville/Florida) during the eighties. Later on ha was  invited by the Zakarya University in Adapazari/Turkey to give lectures as a guest professor. His major fields of research and teaching are: solid states physics (properties of metals and alloys), surface technology (corrosion and corrosion control). He has authored 6 textbooks on different technical and scientific topics and published 200 scientific papers. In addition to his academic carrier he has been involved in industrial research for the last 25 years. N. Kanani has taught German students Technical English for sometime.
